Chapter 7: The Big, The Bad, and The Bold

A man, wearing dark black clothes dashed through the rain! He looked around himself cautiously, making sure he wasn’t tailed. He pursued the inside of an old rundown warehouse. The suspicious man placed his hand on a switch, an elevator rose up. He promptly moved inside the tall metallic box; he pulls out a skull and bone key and inserted it into the elevator latch. Kink, the hidden compartment opened and pressed a button that was labeled A.K.J.  .The elevator took him three feet underground to a disclosed location, and the elevator’s doors opened up to a pitch black darkness surrounding the walls and air. He took one step and stepped back quickly and arrows flew fast through the walls. He smirked and rubbed his pointer finger with his thumb, and his thumb was set ablaze. He crunched down and bear crawled cautiously through the narrow tunnel. “Dammit I’m running late.”  He mumbled.  The man reached an opening where he saw men sitting at a round table angrily and impatiently. He walked the stairs, and a man wearing a mask turned around in his chair and said in a deep voice. “Took you long enough have a seat! Do you have the stuff?!” The man sat down and slid the blade to him. “Hmm excellent. Now my plan can go into effect” The men around the table look at the new guy at the table and they press a button, and the man drops through the floor. He screams for help. “Your services are no longer necessary.”

Adam woke up screaming and he slowly opened his eyes, and noticed Simmon. “S-Simmon!” he said aloud. “You passed out after fighting the dragon, and I brought you to the hospital.” “Ah!” Adam jumped and grunted in pain as he lay up in the bed. “You forgot to get your dragon scale, but I got it for you.” Simmon says as he throws a giant scale wrapped in specialized paper at Adam. “Thanks” Adam says gratefully. “No problem.” Simmon says looking out the window. “Adam I got to get to my dorm catch you when you get out!” Simmon says running out of the hospital room.

After a day’s rest the boy managed a full recovery, and was headed to show his teacher his dragon scale. All of a sudden the headmaster’s voice echoed through the intercom “Everyone is to report to the main stadium, you will not be going to your regular classes today. That is all.” Adam turns in the opposite direction and saw Simmon and ran up to greet his new friend. “Hey what’s up Simm?” Adam called out. He jumped and turned around shocked that he was out and well. “Oh hey Adam I see your up and walking.” He chuckled.
