Chapter 8: The Beginning
“So do you know what the assembly is about?” Adam asked. “Not really…we should hurry or we’ll be late.” Simmon said. Adam jolted passed Simmon “Come on Simmon, catch up.” “I’ll catch up” he replied. They slowed down as they approached the gigantic chrome dome, with a tall stone wall castle wall. Adam looked down, and checked the map. “Hmm, this seems to be the place.” Adam said. “Yeah we should head inside, or we’ll definitely be late to the “party”.” Simmon said. “Yeah” Adam laughed and they ran inside. They examined the stadium, but there were no seats free. “Boom!” an explosion went off in the building and everyone stood up. Four men wearing dark orange cloaks with red-orange mask came out of the curtains on the stage. Then a man wearing all red came from beneath the floor panels. Then he glared at the lights and they blew up and caught ablaze. The security sprinkled activated putting them out. It was pitch black in the stadium, and the backup generator lights came on, and flashed on the stage. A man’s voice was heard on the speakers system. “Code 0019 Alpha Luck! I repeat Code 0019 Alpha Luck this is not a drill, I repeat this is not a…” “Wynn…Wynn…Wynn.” The alarm screamed loudly. Adam whispered to Simmon “We need to get out of here!” “Follow me, and be stealth and quick.” Simmon whispers back. “It’s pitch black up here I can’t see you well” Adam mumbles. “Just focus on my energy.” They moved blindly through darkness, and Simmon stopped and crouched down. A man with an ominous deep voice came onto the speakers. “Guard the perimeter, and male sure no one gets in or out!” “Roger!” The four men got off the stage. And reappeared at all the doors. Some girls and guys tried to escape to the neon light that said “EXIT.” As they got to the door, they were shot with a high voltage of electricity. Their eyes started bleeding out, and their craniums popped open and exploded. The rest off the generator lights cut on, and everyone looked in horror, and remain seated fearing for their very livelihood. “Pss…” Adam looked at a vent and Simmon nodded, and he pulled out a dagger. Flames burst from the dagger, and the bolts melted to a metallic liquid and fell to the floor making a loud sizzling sound. They looked at each other and removed the covering off the vent and jumped inside. They slid down a metal like shaft. The man in red directed the men towards the vent. The man pulled out his Walky Talky. “Two Escaped…”
