Chapter 13: Escape of the Shadows

           

            The henchmen in the stadium immediately reported to the Commander “Commander Sir, Damien hasn’t sent back a message in over 23 hours. Should we go check up with him?” One of the soldiers asked. “No I know what happened. The kid got away huh? Subdue anyone who rebels here. I’m going to look for the blade personally.” All the men responded with a strong affirmative, and the stadium watched in fear as the organization took over slowly. The commander leaves and the guards glared at each student with alertness. The Commander stepped outside and calls for his two right hand men. They materialized at his sides without a blink of the eye. “Now go find the girl, the quicker we find her the better chances for us to bargain with the royal king.” He showed them a picture of the princess and they were gone.

           

            “Huff, huff…I need to rest”, Adam said exhausted. He passed out on the wall of a building, and he slipped through the wall; landing in a secret room. “Ouch!” he said rubbing his head. He looked up to notice he was in a hidden room with purple aura illuminating the entire room. There laid a hot spring at the center, with candles with blue flames.  Adam read the sign posted in front the spring, stating “This spring holds power of rejuvenation deep in the waters.” Adam took a deep breath as he dove deep into the mystical waters, and he saw a bright vibrant light below him. He swam closer towards it, and before he could realize it he was being sucked into a portal.
