Chapter 5: The Pit of the Dragon"s Lair
The class took the teleporter to the mountains, Adam gasped, because the air was different from down below; it was as thick as iron. He observed his peers, and they were already putting on their climbing gear and were off up the mountain. He latched on the gear and took a leap and began to climb. “Professor Eric’s last words…” He said to himself... He zoned out and returned to the scene the classroom. He was sitting in his desk, and wasn’t paying much attention. “Good luck…oh yeah and you might die; bye!” Master jumped out the window swiftly and the class rushed to the window. He was gone. He pulled himself up a little higher. “What the hell was that supposed to mean to me, and what type of teacher is he…” He mumbled. The rock slipped from underneath his foot, and he fell a couple feet; Out of surprise he shrieked and let out a sigh. “Whew, at least I wasn’t that high up.” Adam rejoiced out loud. A mysterious black figure was observing him from above the mountain.
Meanwhile, deep inside the school in the staff hall, a meeting was being held. A swarm of professors, and administrators chatted loudly awaiting the arrival of the headmaster at the school. Wynn, a mechanical sound arouse around the room as the headmaster appeared from beneath the floor panels. Everyone stopped chatting and acknowledged the headmaster. The room had a spherical form, and the headmaster sat in the center. As the headmaster turned, he revealed his long shaggy beard, and also an old mail chain. He looked around and raised his sword and shouted to the heavens “Alright, let the meeting commence!”
Adam finally reached the cave within the mountain, when all of a sudden a fire ball is launched at him. Within seconds evaded the attack.”Aargh” he shouted in pain as he bleed from his side. “Damn it I need to move, or I’m going to literally die in this pit of bones.” He said scarcely. Adam looked around the cave not noticing most of the dead bodies of his classmates. The dragon released a second fire ball, and he limped trying to avoid the attack. The dragon’s claw ripped through the air with supernatural speed. Everything went black…
“Am I alive…?” he whispered. “Yes, you are you idiot.” A mysterious male wearing a school uniform turned and smiled at him giving a thumb up. “I knew you were going to be trouble when I first saw you. Oh and by the way I’m Simmon.”
